6월 17일부터 7월 6일까지 일민미술관 1층 기둥서점과 2층 로비에서 진행한 《존 버거의 책들》을 위한 가구를 제작했습니다.  

미술평론가로 활동을 시작해 문학과 예술, 인문·사회 전반에 관한 글을 발표해 온 존 버거는 육십여 년 동안 아름답고 명료한 문장으로 깊이 있는 통찰을 남겼습니다. 이번 프로젝트는 열화당에서 펴낸 존 버거의 한국어판 저서 26종을 소개하고 그의 사유를 소개하는 자리를 마련합니다.

이후 가구는 미술관에서 다양한 용도로 사용됩니다. 

We produced the furniture for John Berger’s Books, held from June 17 to July 6 on the first-floor Pillar Bookshop and the second-floor lobby of the Ilmin Museum of Art. 

John Berger, who began his career as an art critic and went on to publish writing across literature, art, and the humanities and social sciences, left behind six decades of profound insight expressed in beautiful and lucid prose. This project presents 26 Korean-language editions of Berger’s works published by Yeolhwadang and offers a space to engage with his thought.

The furniture will continue to be used by the museum in various ways.
