《하이퍼 옐로우》는 한국을 대표하는 미술가 임민욱이 국내에서 10년 만에 선보이는 미술관 개인전이다. 최근 한국과 일본을 오가며 수행한 프로젝트 ‘하이퍼 옐로우’를 통해 작가가 맞이한 전환점을 소개하고, 아름다움이 우리 삶의 불완전함을 보완하며 현실의 대립과 분열을 수용할 가능성을 살펴본다. 기술이 급변하고 예술이 자신의 본분과 의미를 찾는 데 어려움을 겪는 시대에, 임민욱의 작가적 실천은 현대의 개념적 미술이 가진 한계를 미래의 관점으로 새롭게 사유한다.

《Hyper Yellow》 is a solo museum exhibition by Minouk Lim, one of Korea’s leading artists, marking her first in the country in a decade. Through her recent project Hyper Yellow, conducted between Korea and Japan, the exhibition introduces a turning point in the artist’s practice and explores how beauty can complement the imperfections of life while embracing the contradictions and divisions of reality. In an era of rapid technological change and artistic struggle to define its essence and meaning, Minouk Lim’s artistic practice reinterprets the limitations of contemporary conceptual art from a future-oriented perspective.
