예술가에게 장소는 단순한 배경이 아니라, 사유와 행위가 교차하는 현장이다. 이번 전시 《인 시투》는 2025년 새롭게 시작된 아르코 예술창작실을 소개하며, ‘세 개의 장소’를 키워드로 예술가들이 머무는 창작의 현장과 지금 이곳 아르코미술관을 하나의 공간 안에서 이어보고자 한다. 작가들의 시선과 행위가 만들어내는 현장은 각기 다른 시간과 감각의 층위를 품고 있으며, 그 사이에서 우리는 예술이 ‘지금, 이곳’에서 어떻게 생성되는지를 마주하게 된다.

For artists, a place is not merely a backdrop but a site where thought and action intersect. In Situ presents the newly launched 2025 ARKO Creative Studio and, through the keyword “three places,” seeks to connect the artists’ sites of creation with the here-and-now of the ARKO Art Center within a single spatial frame. The sites shaped by the artists’ perspectives and gestures hold layered times and senses, and within these layers we encounter how art comes into being here, in this moment.
