8월 30일부터 11월 2일까지 열리는 광주디자인비엔날레 5관 '뉴노멀플레이그라운드'에 석운동은 공간조성으로 참여했습니다. 

뉴노멀플레이그라운드는 ‘놀이’라는 개념을 통해 전시 관람 방식이나 규칙에 구애받지 않고, 누구나 자신의 속도와 리듬대로 경험할 수 있는 ‘통합 놀이터’를 지향합니다. 전시는 다섯 개의 공간 ‘감각 A, 감각 B, 빛, 소리, 자연’으로 구성되어 있습니다. 각 작품은 시각 중심의 전시 관람을 넘어 다양한 감각 체험을 가능하게 합니다. 관람자는 작품을 만지고, 듣고, 냄새 맡고, 기대며, 대화하고, 때로는 쉬어가면서 각자의 감각과 선택에 따라 놀이를 시작하고 마무리 할 수 있습니다. 이 과정에서 서로 다른 몸보다 ‘다른 감각’과 ‘다른 이야기’에 집중하며, 나와 타인의 감각 차이가 어떻게 다르고 또 연결될 수 있는지를 경험합니다.

From August 30 to November 2, Seokundong participated in the New Normal Playground at Hall 5 of the Gwangju Design Biennale with spatial design.

New Normal Playground envisions an “inclusive playground” where anyone can experience the exhibition at their own pace and rhythm, free from conventional viewing rules or modes of engagement. The exhibition consists of five zones—Sense A, Sense B, Light, Sound, and Nature. Each work invites visitors to go beyond visual-centered viewing and engage through multiple senses. Visitors can touch, listen, smell, lean, converse, or rest with the works, beginning and ending their play according to their own sensory choices.

In this process, the focus shifts from differences between bodies to “different senses” and “different stories,” offering an experience of how one’s sensory world both differs from and connects to that of others.
