라이즈(RIIZE)의 이름은 성장과 실현의 지향을 담고 있다. 이들에게 성장이란 단순히 상승을 향한 욕망이 아니라, 미성숙함과 불완전함을 인정하며 이로써 자신을 다시 정의하는 일로 규정된다. 이것은 새로운 무언가가 되는 경험이다. 새로운 것이 되는 경험을 통해 비로소 성장의 잠재력은 현실의 실현 가능성으로 거듭난다.
《고요와 파동 Silence: Inside the Fame》은 내면의 성장을 향한 항해를 거쳐, 반응하고 부응하는 대상으로서의 자각과 실재의 정체성이 가진 바람 사이에서 고요한 파동을 감각하는 라이즈의 시간을 담았다. 여전히 미숙한 존재로서 가진 불안, 사랑과 인정을 구하는 마음, 아티스트로서 도약을 소망하는 목표를 드러내면서, 이들의 음악은 보다 구체적인 현실로 실현된다. 명성과 두려움, 환호와 침묵이 혼재하는 곳에서 라이즈가 전하는 사운드, 이미지, 그 속에 스민 불완전한 진심은 우리가 삶의 한 순간에 어떤 식으로든 통과해야 하는 성장-실현의 경험을 닮았다.
The name “RIIZE” embodies the pursuit of growth and realization. For them, growth is not simply a desire to climb, it’s a redefinition of oneself that comes from admitting one’s immature and imperfect aspects. This is an experience of becoming something new. Through that experience of renewal, the potential for growth is reborn into something that can become reality.
Silence: Inside the Fame embodies RIIZE’s voyage toward inner growth, self-awareness as a reacting and gratifying entity, and sensing of silent waves between the winds of existential identity. They may not be perfect, but by revealing their anxiety, desire for love and approval, and goals as artists wishing to improve, their music becomes a more concrete reality. The sounds, images, and imperfect sincerity permeating inside that RIIZE is conveying from a place where fame, fear, cheers, and silence mixes resembles the growth-realization process that we all must pass through once in our lives, whatever form it may take.
